Magle Sanchez Castellanos- Spanish Teacher

PhD in Educational Sciences (Venezuela)

Master’s degree in Research Methods in Education (Spain)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Venezuela).

Magle has above 20 years of teaching experience in classroom, virtual, and hybrid settings across Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Spain. All this experience has helped her to appreciate multiculturalism as an opportunity to live with other cultures and connect with people. She has a wonderful family that includes her two sons—Luis Fernando, a computer Science student at Indiana University–Indianapolis, and Luis Alejandro, a senior student at Zionsville High School—and her husband, Luis Llerena, a Systems Programmer at the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). As a family, they are guided by strong values such as love, respect, and responsibility. For her, teaching Spanish is a way to prepare individuals for an interconnected world. Furthermore, proficiency in the language not only expands their academic and professional opportunities but also enhances communication in diverse settings, such as soccer.
