Academic Program

Grades 4-10

Empowering Students To Take Charge Of Their Learning Journey

Advanced rigorous academics is at the heart of what makes PSA successful. Students in all grades are challenged by a advanced curriculum that challenges them to use their knowledge rather than just receive knowledge. Our core academic principles center on:

  1. Low Class Sizes- typically student to teacher ratio is 5:1

  2. Project Based Learning- PSA’s professional teachers take content and design problems and projects for students to complete. These range from small performance tasks like rapping about Ancient Rome to creating a soccer tournament and raising money for a school trip.

  3. Individual attention- Because of our small class sizes, students receive individual attention every day.

The student athlete’s day begins at 10am where they begin a two hour block of classes. From 6th grade math to AP Seminar, content is taught together so students can take what they learn and apply it toward another class.
